Event Details

What does it take to get a movie made? Writer/director Martin Gooch should be able to answer! He's made over thirty shorts and is presently working on his second feature 'In Search Of Simon'.

His Debut feature Death screened to sell out crowds at the Hollywood Film Festival last month. Join Martin with the cast and crew of Death for a reconstruction of a key scene from Death followed by a screening of the feature with a live commentary from the director.

Death is a mysterious comedy sci-fi drama about two brother and two sisters who need to own up to some basic facts following the death of their last remaining relative.

Part family drama, part farce, part steampunk and part ghost story, Death has something for jut about everyone. This uniquely British and wholly independent production has a cast of familiar British actors. Death stars Leslie Philips, the British veteran of over one hundred films, Linal Haft (Moulin Rouge), Paul Freeman (Hot Fuzz, Raiders of the Lost Ark) with a musical score composed by Roger Taylor, drummer of Queen.

Join writer/director Martin Gooch with members of the cast and crew for a lively discussion and viewing of this highly original movie
