Raindance Comes to Manchester

Raindance Manchester fires up on September 10th with the Saturday Film School headed up by Raindance founder, Elliot Grove and director, Patrick Tucker.

Manchester has long been a thriving production centre and a Raindance presence in the UK’s second city is long overdue. As is traditional for these events, a sizable discount can be obtained by logging on to Groupon then registering your place with Raindance by following the offer guide.

This is the first Raindance Manchester event with more to follow, starting with the Producer’s Foundation Certificate later this year. Run over five weekday evenings, the PFC course lays out the principles for raising movie money and taking care of the legals – and is particularly relevant for new producers looking to get that first feature financed, cast, shot and sold.

Later we’re hoping to develop Raindance Manchester further, so we can offer the kind of courses and movie education in the North that London based film makers have enjoyed since Elliot Grove founded Raindance back in 1992.

But for now, all our efforts are focussed on our first Saturday Film School. Starting at 10AM, a fact-packed day is planned, with evening drinks and networking immediately after the event.

Be great to see you there.
