PANEL: Colin Q&A
Seminar:
- Saturday 3 October
Raindance Film Café
Starts:
17:00 - FREE EVENT
Marc Price, the writer, director, producer, cameraman, sound designer, editor, grader, and zombie extra for COLIN is joined by the rest of the team behind the overnight success of Colin.
Leigh Crocombe, the practical special effects designer responsible for zombies and humans alike, Alastair Kirton, the lead actor 'Colin' and Helen Grace, who has spearheaded the international sales and distribution of the film discuss the behind the scenes A-Z of this Britich micro-budget success story. Chaired by Elliot Grove.
Helen Grace has a background as a producer and film-maker, and last year she set up LEFT to work with other film-makers on the promotion, sales and distribution of quality low-budget films, that might normally be under-represented in the market. Helen is the sales agent for COLIN and is a producer on Marc Price’s next film THUNDERCHILD.
Justin and Marc set up Nowhere Fast Film Productions, after they met at college in Swansea and shared a common love of film. 28‐year‐old Justin painstakingly created some of the visual fx for COLIN on his laptop, and, as a trusty exec producer, was also called upon to contribute several pounds to purchase the extra tapes and crowbar.
