ThinkSync Music are proud to announce that it will be hosting a panel at this year's Raindance Film Festival (28th Sept - 9th Oct). Now in its 19th year, Raindance is a global name is the world of filmaking, with the festival showcasing some of the best independent film from around the world.

Music For Less - But Not For Nothing will gather a panel of established speakers from music and film to give a frank and in depth insight into the tips and tricks to getting the music you want on a tight budget.

Barry AdamsonBarry Adamson

Born and bred in Moss Side, Manchester, Barry Adamson's extensive and long-running career covers a variety of areas, having worked with the likes of Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds, Magazine, Pan Sonic and Depeche Mode.

His work within film includes material for David Lynch's Lost Highway, Danny Boyle's The Beach and most recently Carol Morley's Dreams Of A Life.

James FairJames Fair

James Fair is a lecturer in Film Technology at Staffordshire University. Starting his directing career on a number of documentaries for Channel 4 at the age of 22, he has short independent projects in Ireland, Australia, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia and Libya. He is particularly known for the 72 Hour Movie Project, whereby feature length movies were shot, edited and then screened in 72 hours as part of major international festivals.

With a number of credits under his belt, his recent work includes 'The Ballad of Des & Mo', created as part of the 72 hour project, which made it into the Top Ten in the Audience Award against over 300 competitors at the Melbourne International Film Festival 2010.

Adrian CorkerAdrian Corker

Adrian Corker is a composer for film/TV and previously of Corker Conboy. He has co-composed and written scores for over fifteen films/TV productions, beginning with gangster movie Face, directed by Antonia Bird and starring Ray Winstone and Damon Albarn. He has also written for Hollywood films such as Ravenous alongside Michael Nyman and Damon Albarn and European Art house film Three Degrees Colder, performed by the Nuremburg Symphony Orchestra.

Current projects include music for the Domino Effect, a film detailing the recent financial crisis, involvement with Peter Greenaway's new film Goltzius and the Pelican Company and the release of a soundtrack album for documentary feature Way of the Morris. He is also a founding member of sound/film collective 4Way Lab.

Connie Farr Connie Farr

Connie is the in-house Music Supervisor at ThinkSync Music. She covers the entire spectrum of musical styles but most enjoys finding interesting and idiosyncratic music which brings a unique flavour to independent films and TV shows.

Previous work includes the critically acclaimed brilliantlove, indie film Break My Fall and Film Four’s Dreams Of A Life by award-winning director Carol Morley, set to premier at this year's BFI London Film Festival. She is currently in post with Frank (written and directed by Richard Heslop).

Connie also oversees our own extensive music catalogue which includes many well known artists and the sourcing of new releases for in-store radio playlists.
