New this year, Raindance opens the Raindance Film Café, the place to be at this year’s festival!
The Vinyl Factory is a music and arts entreprise, providing a range of services to the creative industries. The large gallery provided for Raindance is hosting screenings, panels, masterclasses and live music events through the Festival.
Raindance doesn’t just screen great films, it also hosts snazzy events and throws wild parties. Join us at the Raindance Café for evenings of cutting edge music, short films and pitching events.
- Collect your festival passes, book tickets for the screenings and events and buy some souvenirs (tee shirts, bags, posters, DVD's, books)
- The Raindance Film Café offers a range of drinks and snacks. Enjoy a great, nourishing and cheap lunch in Soho
- Seminars take place at the Lounge from 1pm everyday
- Happy Hour from 4-6pm - enjoy some drinks and network, network, network.
- Relax in the screening area and watch the best of the shorts of the festival.
Entrance is free between 12 noon and 6pm.
We are also hosting live events, see below which are free to Raindance Screening Pass Holders
The Filmmakers Reception takes place between 10pm-11pm every night. Again, an opportunity to meet great people and network. You get a free drink with your Filmmaker pass!
The Raindance Café closes at 11pm but for those who like late night, the party continues at the Phoenix Artists Bar nearby on Tottenham Court Road,

Ctrl.Alt.Shift hosts a special event showcasing 5 short films, with a filmmaker Q&A and panel discussion. Followed by a party with DJ Set by Matchstick and Live Acoustic Performance by MPHO.
