In Z»ro D»faut, on an autumn day, 28-year-old MichÀle goes onto night shift in a French car plant. At the same moment, Farouk retires, after 35 years on the assembly line. Suddenly there is nothingness, silence. MichÀle and Farouk are neighbours. They run into each other and talk. J»remie is MichÀle's husband, same age, same life.
