After a kinetic and highly promising pre-title sequence, the film follows three
oddball characters as they wander through the streets of Budapest. The capital
is beautifully photographed in a style reminiscent of early Luc Besson. The
three individuals' paths intersect via some weird situations until they finally
end up locked in the same police cell. Sandor, an older salesman effortlessly
attracts problem after problem - he is fired, arrested and his van gets grafittied
then demolished. Eszter Marko plays a cigarette girl who is also having a bad
night. She's never in the right place any time and her boss and her brother
are constantly on her back. The trio is completed by Peter Laszlo, who unknowingly
causes mayhem right from the beginning. The characters are sleepwalking their
way through the streets of an urban jungle, offering a spot-on snapshot of modern
Hungary.
This is Bence Miklauzevic's first movie as a director and it's a promising
start. He says that there is no difference between a commercially entertaining
movie and an art film in Hungarian cinema today. This movie is a balancing act
between the two - and another brave step in the revival of Hungarian cinema.

This is Bence Miklauzic's first feature. Miklauzic belongs to the young generation
of Hungarian filmmakers that have appeared in the last three years with such
gifted and widely acclaimed debut films as Hukkle, Forrest and Pleasant Days.
